Cambridge A Level Mathematics

We provide Cambridge A level mathematics as preparation, alongside UE, the three NCEA Level 3 externals in calculus, the three NCEA Level 3 externals in physics, and a rank score over 260, for the B.Eng (Hons) course at the University of Auckland.

Cambridge A Level Mathematics consists of four exams. There are two pathways. The one offered at ASC is

In Year 12, the AS Level mathematics and mechanics (Papers 1 and 4)

In Year 13, papers 3 and 5. Year 13 students can sit all four A level papers in the one year. Those who sat papers 1 and 4 in Year 12 can sit them again in Year 13 to seek a higher grade. The highest grade is only available to those students who sit all 4 papers in the one year.

Auckland Sports College is not a Cambridge school. It is not any type of school. This means we are limited on this page to providing only materials that are provided to the world at large. Our students sit the Cambridge exams as private students.

The Cambridge syllabus is a little wider than the NZ syllabus, and students will have to cover these extra topics.
